My proclamation

My existence is a state of desire. I long believed that what I wanted could be found in the world. But what was once desirable became painful as I found myself amid the litter of things I had but had not fulfilled, surrounded by desires I could not fulfill.

I realized that my desire was an unquenchable thirst, and my existence was a prison of insatiety. I committed to finding my true yearning, rediscovering that I desired the end of my desire altogether.

Descentism is the realization that my awakenings are an illness, and my true desire is the end of desire. I am a descentist, and this is my proclamation.
