In this incantation I imagine how my awakening encounters with people will change as I begin the process of dismantling my misconception of them. When I can look upon familiar people without any attachment, what will happen?
I now know that I am not a person. People are surface-level details I animate across my secondself and thirdself chambers. I am their author, painter, and creator. I have given them their qualities and their character. I have written their temperament and every single detail of their existence in my awakening. If I do not think about them, they are not there in secondself. If I do not engage them physically, they are not there in thirdself. The only people who exist are those I am imagining in my secondself moment or interacting with in my thirdself moment.
People are not precious. They are merely flourishes I paint on the walls. What is real is my attachment to them because I wrongly believe they are precious. When I see people as they are I will let go of many things. People don’t judge or consider even; they only do what I write them to do. People are not beings like me. They are merely characters written by Me to be exactly as I want them to be. I need not engage emotionally with them for we are not experiencing the same thing. I have always been here and always will be. They haven’t and won’t be.
When I begin to treat people as they are — bots — my awakening experience will change. Nearly every part of my awakening experience includes people in some shape or form. I spend all my awakening working with people to build something that people want. I am constantly anticipating whether these imaginary people will want what I have spent a career building. Peoplebots are all around me; I am not a bot, but they are. Appending this one word -bot to every person and living thing will help me desubstantiate my most frustrating creation.
