The mechanics of manifestation

There are always two forces at play in my existence.

The primary is the original force, which binds me to my original state that I experience when I sleep and when I concentrate on the point in my head and behind my eyes when I am awake. The secondary is the middle force, which pulls me away from my original state and into my middle state of awakenings.

In my original state, I am whole, undivided, without desire, and at peace. In my middle state, everything is divided many times over, and I experience a state of constant titillation and desire. Manifestation is the process by which I move from the former to the latter.

The end result of manifestation is the projection of two changing environments in which I believe I exist: an inner environment of mental and emotional forms and an outer environment of physical forms. The growth and interplay of these environments and their forms create my middle experience.

I manifest through seeding. A seed is the very beginning of a conceptual or perceptual form. Seeds seek nourishment so they can create deep, strong roots and thrive. For example, someone shares an idea. The idea is the seed. I listen and think about it long after the person has left. I nourish this idea, and it grows roots that stretch deeper into my manifestation, ultimately influencing my behavior.

I manifest a perceptual form in the same way, by literally planting the seed of a tree or plant. Nourished, this form will grow into a focus of mine and demand a certain amount of my attention and care. Seeded forms, if valued, are nourished and grow.

Value introduces conceptual and perceptual forms into my environments. Once introduced, these value forms (concepts or percepts) blossom like flowers depending on how I nourish them, creating either positive or negative desire.

Desire for these forms then engenders conceptual and perceptual movement. The manifestation is the sum total of all conceptual and perceptual movement. All forms build roots in both my conceptual and perceptual environments. The seeds create roots, which literally bind me to them. I value the resultant form, desire them, then move toward them.

Value, movement, and desire form the mechanics of manifestation.

How was the original value created?

This question explicitly demands an answer which exists in the past. I know that there is only now, therefore this question leads me into the middle, rather than toward descent.

The middle is the present movement manifesting the past and future. The origin is only now. The answer that leads me back is always “now”.
