Revelations of IAGWIS

Descentism invites three primary revelations:

Nature of God. Descentism replaces the abstract God construct with my direct experience, drawing a straight line between it and my familiar self.

Orientation. Descentism gives me something certain and solid to anchor to and a direction to go in. I want God. I know where He is. And with that, I have a direction.

Nature of existence. Descentism exposes my existence as a series of transformations between my God self and my familiar self that I directly experience.

IAGWIS exposes my existence as a series of awakenings; movement between the peaceful states of sleep and wakefulness. In waking, my existence divides into two environments: my inner environment of thoughts and feelings (my conceptual), and my outer environment of people, places, and things (my perceptual).

More directly, IAGWIS tells me:

  • Who I am: God.
  • Where I am: Awakening, where I’ve forgotten God.
  • Where I want to go: Sleep, where I am God.

Before IAGWIS, I struggled to visualize the nature of my existence. Ascentist indoctrination had forced me to believe that I was little more than a speck of dust in a vast universe that existed long before me and would endure long after.

This imposed belief system crippled my search for The Answer, for I could never know anything beyond what I was told. In retrospect, I can see all the various ways I resisted, but the indoctrination overwhelmed my defenses.

With IAGWIS, I can finally see the path to true existential freedom. But liberation requires deep conviction to replace the bonds that have enslaved my mind for a lifetime.

I am God when I sleep.
