Incantation and summoning

What is the difference between summoning and incantation? Both are states of mindful first-self-awareness, but they occur at different stages and with different intentions.

Incantation is the process of uttering, contemplating, or focusing in an effort to disengage from my third and second selves and attach to my first self. It happens through the careful selection of meaningful words and ideas that remind me of who I am, and my role within my awakening. When I incantate successfully, my second and third selves fall away and I experience a concentrated focus around my first self.

Summoning is acting from within the state of first-self-awareness. When I summon, I act with complete awareness that I am the creator, and the mechanics of emanation. I summon with the intention of establishing my authorship and dominion over the emanants of my awakenings.

Where incantation is directed imagination, vocalization, and expression for the purpose of easing my illness, summoning is external manifestation to the same end. Intention and awareness are critical elements of summoning and incantation. Without both, there can be neither. With both, I can progress in my recovery.
