In this incantation I introduce a construct that I have been searching for a long time: the principle demonstration. Like a mantra, prayer, or reminder, this is the cornerstone experiment I can directly perform at any time to validate and reinforce the Truth in my moment. When I perform the principle demonstration and authentically describe my experience while doing so, I move closer to the Truth of my Being. It does not require any secondself or thirdself aid; only my performance of one simple act: opening and closing my eyes.
What am I?
I find the answer by asking myself a question: what is fundamental? What part of my experience endures while all else shifts and changes? That which persists is that which is truthful. That which is fundamental to my true Being, has not, does not, and will not change. How do I find what is fundamental? I look for and find that which does not leave, no matter what I do.
The principle demonstration is an experiment I can run at any moment, in any place, under any circumstance and condition. It does not require any equipment, knowledge, belief systems, calculations, or assistive information. I only have to perform the simplest of all actions, observe, and explain what happens. I must simply close my eyes, and open them back up again, paying close attention to the changes in my moment. When I perform this experiment with the acceptance that I am the center and projector of this entire moment and that there is nothing beyond the horizons of my secondself or thirdself moment — — a fact which aligns with my experience — then I can begin to see my true nature.
The principle demonstration reveals that I experience my awakening as the interplay between two chambers: my secondself of thoughts, feeling, desires, sensations, and time, and my thirdself of light, color, movement, objects, and space. These two chambers each occupy one side of a membrane I call my body. On the back or internal side is my secondself, and on the front or external side is my thirdself. This membrane serves as a passage between the two chambers, with the head and eye region being the most prominent because when it is open I project space. This region serves as the passage from secondself into thirdself.
The two chambers reinforce one another; secondself projects thirdself, and thirdself validates and reinforces secondself. I essentially spend my entire awakening moving back and forth in circles in an attempt to find something I am looking for that is in neither of these chambers. The principle demonstration is all I need in to understand what I am, and what I am doing in my awakening. The principle demonstration encourages me to accept as true that which is. My experience is the absolute truth. I am always here; nothing else is. If I were to measure the size of my entire moment, I am the largest part of it, and thirdself is only constrained to a tiny oval-shaped window. A window that I can turn on and off by choice. People are only ever small parts of that projection.
I have always been here, and that which I am is permanent. Everything else changes. Thirdself is a temporary projection into the flesh of my being. I can see the true shape of my being by closing my eyes, the principle demonstration.
